Since 2001, the Miniatur Wunderland has been growing steadily. The Wunderland opened the seventh area, Switzerland, in November 2007, having started with two layout zones, Harz and Southern Germany. In 2014, more layout areas have been opened.
Without a doubt, the Miniatur Wunderland is a marvel, not only because of its scenery and surface area, but also because of the technology underpinning the show.
